This is to do with the version of SQL Server the original database has come from. Databases from later versions are not able to ve placed into previous versions of SQL Server.
Version 661 supports from SQL Server 2008 R2
Version 655 supports from SQL Server 2008
Version 611 supports from SQL Server 2005
